The Catcher in the Rye
It's all Spandau Ballet's fault that I read this in the first place, by mentioning the name of this book in the lyrics to "Code of Love". Anyhow, that's what brought me to read this at the age of 15.
Maybe I was too young. Maybe I was too naive. I thought it was stupid. Ridiculous. Why would anyone behave like that. I was a teenager when I read this, so naturally I knew everything, and I knew this was lame. Still, not going to read it again now I'm old and wise: what if I was wrong? What if I was right???
