What I'm reading, what I'm thinking of reading & what I've read. And stuff.
Really liked this in the end, although it was a struggle to get through the section at the start of the book where Hannah was debilitated by her depression. But the perseverance was worth it. The trip back to happiness for Hannah is not an easy one for her, but she is assisted by an colourful assortment of supporting characters. The peeks we get at the ex-pat community & Macau life are also very interesting.
The design of the book is gorgeous, and the chapter headings - with their descriptions of macaron flavours - made my mouth water.
A tad more serious than your average chic-lit, this book is worth the effort of the first few chapters.
